PUCE Video

Video with a state-of-the-art neural engine, proprietary PQSL layer, GPU-accelerated encoding, and post-quantum encryption integrated across the entire pipeline.

Capabilities

Neural compression, post-quantum encryption and GPU encoding in a single pipeline.

Neural Compression

State-of-the-art neural engine with our proprietary PQSL layer. Learns latent frame representations, capturing redundancies traditional codecs miss — competitive compression at low bitrates, with quality measured by PSNR/SSIM.

Post-Quantum Encryption

ML-KEM encryption and ML-DSA signatures integrated directly into the encoding pipeline. The entire video chain is quantum-safe by default.

GPU-Accelerated Encoding

Hardware encoding with H.264, H.265 and AV1 support. Multi-GPU with automatic load balancing for scalable processing.

Bitstream Analysis

Integrated parser that analyses H.264/H.265 bitstreams without full decoding, extracting structural information ~40% faster than conventional methods.

Encoding modes

PUCE Video automatically adapts to the hardware and use case, with three operating modes.

NEURAL

PUCE Video Neural

Maximum quality and compression. The neural engine processes all frames (I-frames and P-frames) to achieve the best possible quality/size ratio.

Ideal for:

Medical archive, forensics, high-quality broadcast

HYBRID

PUCE Video Hybrid

Balance between speed and quality. I-frames processed by the neural engine, P-frames by conventional GPU encoding. Ideal for real-time scenarios.

Ideal for:

Video conferencing, live streaming, surveillance

COMPAT

PUCE Video Compatível

Full GPU encoding without neural engine. Produces standard H.264/H.265 bitstreams compatible with any player, while maintaining post-quantum encryption.

Ideal for:

Universal distribution, maximum compatibility

Quality presets

5 quality levels with multi-rate encoding for adaptive bitrate streaming.

PresetTypical bitrate (1080p30)Use case
ULTRA_LOW0.5–1 MbpsSurveillance, CCTV
LOW1–3 MbpsStandard CCTV
MEDIUM3–8 MbpsVideo conference, streaming
HIGH8–20 MbpsBroadcast, production
MASTER20–80 MbpsHigh-quality archive

Real-world scenarios

Measured impact in concrete use cases.

Surveillance 24/7 — 1000 CCTV cameras

Airport with 1000 cameras at 1080p 15fps. With traditional codecs: 43 TB/day. With PUCE Video Neural (ULTRA_LOW preset): 13 TB/day — 70% less storage, with quality measured by PSNR/SSIM.

70%less storage

PQ-encrypted video conferencing

Meeting with 20 participants, 720p at 30fps. With conventional WebRTC: 1.5 Mbps/participant. With PUCE Video Hybrid: 0.6 Mbps/participant — 60% less bandwidth with E2E post-quantum encryption.

60%less bandwidth

Medical video archive — 4K Surgery

Surgery recordings in 4K60 for teaching archives. With traditional codecs: 72 GB/surgery (4h). With PUCE Video Neural (MASTER preset): 32 GB — minimal visible loss (validated by PSNR/SSIM) at less than half the size. For bit-exact requirements (forensic/legal), use classic lossless mode.

55%less storage

Benchmarks vs traditional codecs

PUCE Neural v6.0 (I+P)0.09732.2179
PUCE Neural v6.0 (I-only)2.2334.6440

PUCE v6.0 measured on dedicated GPU. I+P mode: encode at 64×64 (neural model native resolution) with GOP of 60, ~8.7 fps, BPP=0.097 and PSNR=32.2 dB. I-only mode: encode at native resolution (640×360), ~2.3 fps, BPP=2.23 and PSNR=34.6 dB. Classical codecs: industry reference values (intra mode). MS-SSIM and PUCE decode still being benchmarked — BPP and PSNR values are real measurements, not projections.
